Background on This Bodypainting
Born near Moscow, Lena was a successful model in Russia.  Russian print magazines regularly featured her wearing the latest fashions.  But for Lena, the unseemly cracks within Russian culture held little appeal.  She preferred the more transparent societies enjoyed in the West and eventually she emigrated to one of its largest fashion capitals: Miami Beach.  It is here that Lena has made her permanent home.  Although Lena is fiercely proud of her Russian ethnicity and language, she has no desire for even a short visit back to the land of her birth.  America is now her adopted home.  Lena contacted me about creating a bodypainting that would accurately reflect her original Eastern European culture as well as accent her hour glass figure.  Our collaborative outcome was a theme based on the fine art of Russian filagree.  Filagree is a delicate kind of jewelry metalwork, usually consisting of gold or silver, and incorporates tiny beads or twisted threads soldered together and arranged in artistic motifs. It often suggests lace, a Russian folk art specialty.  Instead of employing my usual air brush equipment to execute the design, I decided that hand painting would produce finer detail.  The gold color consists of stage make-up and easily washes off.  But if left on the skin, this particular gold will safely adhere for two days.  The ultra-feminine result is what you see in the photograph, with the repetitive gold pattern becoming “living Russian filagree”.  If you would like to see a second enticing photo of Lena completed with her Russian-styled body art, go to my blog.  Just click on the following URL web address:

Background on This Bodypainting
Bridget is a part time model who contacted me for both bodypainting and shooting the results.  She is enthusiastic about working-out at the gym and has a strong entrepreneurial drive that has led her to start several businesses.  One of her companies has her caring for clients’ pets while they are away.  In northern Palm Beach County, one may see Bridget walking a large number of dogs, all at the same time.  Bridget’s serene presence is just the medicine for stressed canines missing their traveling owners.  Repeat customers mean that Bridget is performing a valued service.  The bodypainting you see on Bridget was the result of happenstance.  The theme was derived from her love of nature and all things wild.  As we were setting up, she spied a silver runner snake crawling by (they are harmless).  She knew what it was and calmly mentioned, “There goes a snake”, with a tone of admiration and acceptance.  As I painted Bridget, she enjoyed relating about her life, family, and friends with an openness confirmed by her relaxed demeanor.  Bridget is available as a bodypainting performance art model in the greater Palm Beach region and would be a great asset to any function. For more information about my bodypainting and photographic services, please see below for details.

Bodypainting of Michelle
Location of Shoot:  Jupiter, (Palm Beach County), Florida
Situation:  Bodypainting at a nightclub - taking requests


Background on This Bodypainting
I bodypaint at a number of nightclubs throughout South Florida.  The draw for the evening is my artistic skill and my ability to translate any patron’s request into eye-catching body art.  It transforms them for the evening and certainly makes them the center of attention.  Sometimes it’s just a small request, and other instances the suggestions become more elaborate.  Whatever the subject wants, fellow patrons gather round and clap in approval as the form takes shape.  As an artist it’s rewarding to watch my audience enjoy the process unfold.  In this particular example, Michelle asked that I adorn her with a glow-in-the-dark viper snake.  No problem.  This particular piece took five minutes to create.  As an added treat, the paint fluoresces wildly under ultra-violet black light.  Another part of this snake extended from her skirt all the way down her leg so it appeared that the viper was tucked inside her outfit.  Many clubs and private parties featuring my glow-in-the-dark body art install several black lights throughout their establishment.  In this manner, one can see glowing people hanging about the black lights similar to how moths are drawn to a flame.  For more information about my bodypainting and photographic services, please see below for details. 

Bodypainting of Susanne & Christy

Background on This Bodypainting
Dark haired Susanne is a professional model and student who contacted me for both my bodypainting and photographic services.  Susanne has an interesting combination of dual Chinese and European heritage.  Her varied ancestry not only contributes to her stunning beauty, but also gives her an exotic look.  When discussing the shoot parameters, Susanne asked if she could bring her best friend Christy along to observe.  Yes, of course.  As a blonde, Christy turned out to be the epitome of the ‘girl next door’.  She has great eyes and a captivating smile that the camera loves.  After we arrived at the shoot location, and began to set up, I asked if Christy had any interest joining in.  She could pose separately as well as along side her good friend.  The attached photograph of both Susanne and Christy together - reveals her enthusiastic answer.  The shoot lasted three hours as both Susanne and Christy savored the attention.  It goes without saying, best friends typically want to be involved when it comes to creating body art.  For more information about my bodypainting and photographic services, please see below for details. 

Bodypainting of Camille

Background on This Bodypainting
Camille is a model who resides in Tampa Bay and currently pursues her studies at a Florida university.  She possesses a laid back, free-spirited personality combined with a stunning hour glass figure.  Her background in dance has honed her body into an athletic physique that shouts good health.  Camille learned of my talents, and after an engaging phone conversation she was inspired to be my canvas in front of an appreciative group at Lake Como Resort (near Tampa).  Instead of using my airbrush equipment, we decided upon an artistic theme that involved hand brushing stage make-up in a precise application.  The goal was to create a design where the colors, shapes, and patterns fit perfectly with Camille’s figure and skin tone.  Here you see the pleasing results.  The forest of stately cypress trees lining Lake Como formed the majestic backdrop for our subsequent two hour photo shoot.  For those who may also want to see Camille become living “performance art”, you’re in luck.  She continues to be available as one of my bodypainting models in the greater Tampa Bay region.  For more information about my bodypainting and photographic services, please see below for details.

Bodypainting of Jersey
Location of Shoot:  Florida’s Sun Coast (West Central Coast)
Bodypainting Theme:  Showcasing My Glow-in-the-Dark Body Paint



Background on This Bodypainting
Jersey’s face may look familiar.  She was a professional model that I bodypainted numerous times back in 2007.  She is popular with photographers because she possesses a unique quality.  Although she is beautiful, she is even more so in photographic images.  She loves modeling and the camera loves her back in spades.  Jersey wanted to help me showcase my many glow-in-the-dark bodypaints.  What you see here is partially lit by ultraviolet light, which gives the impression that the paint is illuminated from within, …sort of a living being with neon light.  The demand for my glow-in-the-dark body paints is high at nightclubs, at private functions, during Key West’s Fantasy Fest, and from individuals who want to make a stunning entrance.  Being the center of attention is guaranteed.  In the attached image, Jersey aptly displays the eye-catching effects for your enjoyment.  For more information about my bodypainting and photographic services, please see below for details.
